Leslie Whatley is Global Head of corporate real estate for Morgan Stanley, responsible for all commercial and retail real estate transactions, space planning and global portfolio strategy. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Whatley was senior vice president of global corporate real estate at JP Morgan Chase. During her tenure there, she also developed real estate integration strategies for six mergers. Whatley began her career at General Motors, where she spent 16 years in various positions, including director of international real estate. She has served on the board of CoreNet Global, a global real estate association, for eight years and recently concluded a term as board chairman. Whatley earned a bachelor′s degree in economics and a master's degree in business from the University of Michigan, and the designation of master's in corporate real estate designation from CoreNet Global.
