Our Hiring Process

Apply
All positions require an online application. We encourage all candidates to submit their resume, cover letter, and other applicable materials to highlight their experiences, skills, and achievements.
Review
The role's hiring manager will review submitted applications for the position. If the hiring team believes you are a potential match, someone will reach out directly to you to schedule a call to learn more about your skills and experience. This opportunity allows us to learn more about you, as well as help you learn more about the open position and the Institute at large. Please note: we value your application. However, due to the volume of applications received, we may not always be able to make personal contact with every applicant.
Interviews
The interview process varies but typically includes an initial phone interview and a hiring manager interview, as well as team interviews with staff who work closely with the position.
Offer
Our HR team will extend an offer of employment to the final candidate and will walk them through the details of the offer and next steps. Once a new employee has joined the Milken Institute team, we begin your onboarding experience right away and establish a plan to set you up for success as an integral part of our community.
