Jeff Valliere

Jeff Valliere is the Chief of Staff and Head of Strategy at the Milken Institute, overseeing the development of fully integrated, strategic initiatives that support the mission, vision, and values of the Milken Institute. Previously, Jeff was the Head of Strategy and Communications for FasterCures and the Milken Institute Center for Public Health, where he developed approaches to deepen the Centers' relevance to key audiences. Before joining the Institute, Jeff co-founded CURA Strategies, a strategic communications firm focused exclusively on health and wellness. While there, Jeff led the firm's work in the areas of mental health, addiction, telemedicine, value-based care, chronic disease management, as well as issues related to veterans and military caregivers. The firm’s efforts in these areas earned it the "North American New Agency of the Year" and “Global New Agency of the Year” awards by the Holmes Report, a PR trade publication. At the same time, Jeff served as communications director for former U.S. Rep. Patrick J. Kennedy (D-RI) as he embarked on his post-Congressional career. Earlier, Jeff spent six years as a managing partner at Threespot, a digital agency supporting non-profit organizations, trade associations, major foundations, and think tanks. He also served as Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s first director of digital communications, assisting her and 212 members of Congress make the leap into online engagement.
