Gaby Alvarado is an executive assistant of the Center for Strategic Philanthropy at the Milken Institute. Her work at the Institute is largely centered on assisting with special projects, department coordination, and supporting the Innovation Prize Competitions team. Prior to her role, Alvarado worked in New York City in private equity with SK Capital Partners, where she supported managing partners and directors. She also lived in Sydney, Australia, and worked as an assistant at Hanson, a leader in building and construction materials. She learned about world-class technologies and service platforms. Alvarado was born and raised in Los Angeles. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix.
