Alex Schueler

Alex Schueler is a Senior Director, Strategic Markets, Business and Program Development at the Milken Institute. In 2017, she launched the Institute’s office in New York. Schueler moved to Miami in 2021 to experience the migration of business to South Florida. Her early observations led to the establishment of Milken’s South Florida presence. Since then, she has developed a network of entrepreneurs, financiers, and tech innovators in South Florida and has launched initiatives including the recent Milken South Florida Dialogues. In her role at the Institute, she secures new strategic partners and sponsors for the Institute’s renowned conferences and programs. Schueler also founded and manages the Forum for Family Asset Management (FFAM), a network of single-family office CIOs that convene globally to exchange best practices and share ideas. She creates meaningful relationships across networks that enable the Milken Institute’s mission of improving health, creating jobs, and expanding access to capital. Schueler joined the Institute from Wall Street where she had extensive experience in sales, client service, and marketing. Prior to joining the Institute, she spent four years at Guggenheim Partners. Most recently she was vice president of equity sales in the securities division, where she was responsible for selling fundamental and policy research, corporate access, and deals to institutional equity investors. Before Guggenheim, Schueler worked in institutional sales and client relationship management at Lord Abbett & Co. in Jersey City. She received a B.A. in Spanish and European studies with a minor in corporate strategy, managerial studies from Vanderbilt University. She is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) as well as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. Schueler leads group and 1x1 Vinyasa Yoga classes and has completed training intensives in restorative yoga, Ayurveda, prenatal, chakras, Yoga Nidra, and studied bhakti in India.
