Small Cell Lung Cancer - A Giving Smarter Guide

Lung cancer has been one of the deadliest cancers in the United States. There are a number of challenges and unmet needs that act as barriers to desperately needed progress in small cell lung cancer (SCLC) research. The disease lacks new treatment options, there is insufficient access to biospecimens, and an overall poor understanding of underlying disease biology has prevented any chances for a cure.

This Giving Smarter Guide presents key issues to discuss the state of science relevant to SCLC and the challenges currently impeding research progress. It also includes recommendations on how strategic philanthropic investments can accelerate progress in SCLC.
