Rob Roy is senior vice president of investments and chief investment officer for AdventHealth. In this role, he oversees investments for one of the nation’s largest faith-based health systems, which includes operating capital and employee retirement portfolios totaling approximately $20 billion. Roy also co-leads the sustainability work for AdventHealth.Dr. Roy, who has 35 years of institutional investment experience, oversees a 12-person investment team that manages over half of the organization’s operating capital internally. He has dedicated 20 years to supporting AdventHealth’s mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ. During that time, he has played a lead role in developing the organization’s investment philosophy and process, which was created to reinforce its core values and principles. Roy earned a Ph.D. in finance from The University of London, a master’s degree in financial markets and trading from the Illinois Institute of Technology, a master’s degree in sustainability from Harvard University, a bachelor’s in finance from Suffolk University, and a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics from Southern New Hampshire University.
