Rafi is the Founder and Chairman of Stax, a global consulting firm focused on the private equity sector, providing mid-cap and large cap PE firms with commercial due diligence on deals across sectors, growth strategies and profit improvement for portfolio companies, and exit planning for those companies. He took the firm from zero to 250+ employees and exited to Blue Point Capital in 2021, transitioned from CEO to board chair in 2022 and is an active advisor to the firm. Over 3 decades, he partnered with extraordinary colleagues, client management teams across industries and leaders in the investment arena. In 2011 he founded itrek, a non-profit engaged in bringing leaders and future leaders who are not-Jewish, to Israel. itrek has supported more than 600 delegations and 25,000 participants from leadership networks globally. Rafi is primarily involved in social impact, including non-profit and for-profit models by investing in businesses in these areas and partnering with non-profits and foundations in these areas. His focus includes 1) Jewish/Israel 2) Climate/Energy/Ag 3) Making the world a better place for more people by helping them have better lives and 4) Infrastructure for social impact. He has participated in Milken Panels multiple times over the last 15 years on subjects including energy and transportation, education, and financial structures for impact. He Chairs the board of itrek, is on the board of the board of the Milken Innovation Center-Israel at the Jerusalem Institute, PEF, the American Society of the University of Haifa, and Bronx Lab School.
