Nasir Qadree is the Founder & Managing Partner of Zeal Capital Partners, a leading mission driven venture capital firm based in Washington, D.C with over $170m in AUM since 2020 . Zeal Capital Partners focuses on partnering with diverse management teams that are rethinking the building blocks of wealth - from financial wellness/inclusion, employment pathways, and health equity. Qadree is a Kauffman Fellow Class 26 graduate, with over fifteen years of experience in investing, entrepreneurship, financial services, civic appointee, and technology. Before launching Zeal Capital Partners, he served as Associate Director for AT&T’s $400 million Aspire Social Investment Fund, where he oversaw direct investments. . Prior to AT&T, he served as Global Head of Education Investments and US Economic Opportunity lead at Village Capital. Qadree began his career across the public markets at Goldman Sachs and State Street Corporation. He has been featured on CNBC, Yahoo Finance, and Bloomberg focusing on the state of venture capital. Qadree also serves on DC Mayor Muriel Bowser’s Innovation Technology Inclusion Council (ITIC) and Co-Chairs the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) Chapter of BLCK VC. He is on a path to completing 51 marathons, in all 50 states and his hometown of D.C. to raise $1 million in college scholarships for first generation college students. He holds a BA from Hampton University and graduated magna cum laude. Qadree resides in Washington, D.C. with his wife Chloe Louvouezo Qadree and their son Myel (7).
