Marcelo Paiva
Co-founder and Managing Partner, A10 Invest; Co-chairperson, Sigma Lithium
Marcelo Paiva is the Managing Partner at A10 Invest, which he co-founded in 2012, and Co-Chairperson at Sigma Lithium (Nasdaq: SGML). Amongst others, the A10 Fund acquired 100% of Sigma Lithium in 2015 transforming it from a greenfield project into a US$ 1.5 bn low cost, net zero lithium producer. Sigma is the world’s fourth largest industrial and mineral lithium complex. Marcelo has over 25 years of experience in asset management and investment banking. Prior to A10 Invest, Marcelo was a Portfolio Manager at the Mittal Family Office in São Paulo and a Vice-President at Millennium Global in London. Marcelo also held investment banking positions at Credit Suisse in London and UBS in New York. He has an MBA from INSEAD and completed the MBA Exchange Program at The Wharton School. Marcelo is a CFA Charterholder.
