Goodwin is the Founder and Managing Principal of Gaw Capital, a uniquely positioned real estate private equity fund manager focusing on high barrier to entry markets globally. Gaw Capital has raised seven funds since 2005, in excess of US$22.3 billion as of Q3 2023. Currently commands assets of over US$33.7 billion under management. Goodwin received “Asia Industry Figure of the Year” in 2013, 2015 and 2018 by PERE. He recently received “Entrepreneur of the Year” 2020 by Ernst & Young and “Urban Visionary Award” from Asia Society in 2019. Goodwin is currently a member of ULI’s Global Board and an active member of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) in Hong Kong Chapter and Intercontinental Chapter. He is also the member of the Board of Overseers of the School of Engineering and Applied Science in the University of Pennsylvania and the board member of Lawrenceville School. Goodwin received a BS in Civil Engineering from the School of Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania, a BS in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a MS in Construction Management from Stanford University.
