Giorgio Medda is Chief Executive Officer and Global Head of Asset Management & Fintech of Azimut Group, based in New York City. He is also General Manager at Azimut Investments S.A., the Group’s Luxembourg based investment platform. He has extensive responsibilities at global level on the asset management business and on foreign operations next to be being in charge of the Group's fintech and blockchain development. Prior to that, Giorgio successfully initiated the Azimut expansion in the Middle East becoming CEO of Azimut Portföy Yönetimi A.S., Istanbul, from 2012 to 2016 and CEO of Azimut (DIFC) Limited, Dubai, from 2016 to 2019. Giorgio joined Azimut in 2007 as Portfolio Manager at Azimut Capital Management SGR, Milan. Before joining Azimut, he was a Director at Credit Suisse in London (2001- 2007), a Research Analyst at Mediobanca (2000-2001) and Internal Auditor at British Telecom (1999-2000). Giorgio holds a degree cum laude from Università Bocconi (Italy).
