Ella is the Senior Vice President of Marketing for WPP (NYSE: WPP, Revenues $14B) where she is responsible for marketing the global agency network and WPP agency brands. Known for her role as the Director of WPP’s client retreat “WPP Stream” named by WIRED as “one of the World’s Best Technology Conferences”, Ella creates valuable and broadening experiences for next generation CEO and Chief Marketing Officers, including, leaders from Apple, Chanel, Google, Nike, NVIDIA, TikTok, Unilever and Verizon. With 15-years’ marketing experience in the creative industries Ella has championed an innovative approach to liberating creative communication across disciplines and sectors, around the globe, with ground-breaking results in locations from Cannes Lions, to CES and Davos. Supporting Stream’s highly interactive, participant-led approach, Ella has developed a suite of proprietary marketing tools; WPP TV, WPP Studios, and the WPP Inclusive Marketing Playbook to support and amplify creative marketing practices company-wide. Ella started her career at Doc Society an international organization that champions independent documentary film, where pushing the boundaries was the norm. Doc Society provided a dynamic grounding for Ella’s long-standing belief that change, and growth are achieved by designing in enjoyment to transformative, value-creating experiences.
