Asutosh Padhi

Asutosh is the managing partner for McKinsey & Company in North America. He serves on McKinsey's global leadership team and is a member of its Shareholders Council, the firm's equivalent to a board of directors. Throughout his career, Asutosh has helped high-performing companies achieve functional, business unit, and enterprise transformations by drawing on his expertise in corporate strategy, operations, and organizational health and effectiveness. He previously led McKinsey’s advanced industries sector and is the founder of the McKinsey Center for Future Mobility, which helps companies, investors, governments, and social sector entities prepare for a more autonomous and interconnected future. Currently, Asutosh orchestrates McKinsey’s client service and research initiatives focused on helping CEOs and board members thrive amidst economic uncertainty. Asutosh is the bestselling author of Titanium Economy: How Industrial Technology Can Create a Better, Faster, Stronger America, and his perspectives on industrial technology, macroeconomics, and leadership have been featured in CNN, Fortune, the Financial Times, MarketWatch, Bloomberg, and Insider, among others. Asutosh is the executive sponsor for McKinsey’s work with the Rework America Alliance, a Markle Foundation initiative that seeks to advance opportunities for millions of unemployed and low-wage workers to transition into better jobs.
