May 3 at 11:30 am PDT | Talking About My Generation: Transcending Age-Based Divides

Events that define generations shape values, attitudes toward the future, and approaches to debates over the allocation of public resources. Baby Boomers came of age during a time of prosperity and opportunity; Gen X experienced the dotcom era and housing crashes; Millennials lived through 9/11 and the Great Recession; and Gen Z's new normal is COVID-19. Now, polarizing debates over climate, racial and social justice, and rising inequality elevate concerns about intergenerational clashes and competition. Panelists will explore opportunities to develop intergenerational solutions rooted in unity and social innovation to address the most pressing issues of our time.
