As the world enters a new era, the trajectory of the economy is intrinsically tied to the sustainable management of our natural resources. Rainforests, savannahs, oceans, and tundras provide habitats for a rich tapestry of species, but are endangered by the consequences of human encroachment and climate change. Despite global commitments, biodiversity continues to decline at an alarming rate. Although numerous conservation initiatives exist, the challenge lies in bridging the gap between intention and effective implementation. How can we forge stronger connections between ecology and economics, ensuring that conservation efforts align seamlessly with development outcomes?
