Corporate Philanthropy: Connecting Profits and Purpose

Monday, May 1, 2023
11:30 AM - 12:30 PM PDT
Beverly Hilton - California Terrace

Last year, the authors of the Edelman Trust Barometer declared, "Societal leadership is now a core function of business". As trust slips away from government and the media, society is demanding more from the corporate sector. To win over consumers and to ensure employees understand that they are part of something greater, businesses are increasingly called upon to "walk the walk"—to demonstrate that their actions and culture match the values they claim to hold. This panel brings together industry leaders to discuss how corporate philanthropy is becoming central to corporate purpose, how engagement has evolved, and where the space is heading.
