Building Mental Health Resilience Amidst Uncertainty

October 12 at 9:00 am PDT/12:00 pm EDT

In June, the CDC reported that 40 percent of adults in the US have struggled with mental health or substance use associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. The workplace and communities are poised like never before to provide much needed resources and support as many individuals grapple with an array of experiences: fear, anxiety, stigma, isolation, and hopelessness. There is distinct pressure on those in high visibility roles to use their platforms to help others. This session will showcase the concrete actions that high profile figures and organizations are taking on for individual and group wellbeing while creating communities where all feel seen and heard in the midst of a global pandemic.
