Co-Founder and CEO, Gamma
Larry Jackson

Larry co-founded gamma. as the culmination of decades of firsthand knowledge and deep understanding of how to make and support great artists, create inspiring content, and ultimately shape the culture at large.

As the Global Creative Director at Apple Music played a key role in the launch of the groundbreaking music service, and was instrumental in the formation of Apple Music 1. He pushed the boundaries of what artist and streaming platforms could do through such innovative projects as Drake’s OVO Sound Radio, Nicki Minaj’s drivetime drama factory Queen Radio, Frank Ocean’s boundary-pushing Blonded show, and the Weeknd’s deep dives into creative inspiration via his Memento Mori show, among many others.

Larry came to Apple Music through its acquisition of Beats Music, where he was Chief Content Officer. He previously was a producer, manager, and A&R exec. for two of the biggest names in music—Jimmy Iovine and Clive Davis. Larry was an EVP at Interscope, where among other things signed Lana Del Rey. He previously was President and EVP and Arista Records/RCA Music Group, where he served as head of A&R, producing albums for Whitney Houston and won a Grammy for Jennifer Hudson’s debut album.

Larry has been named to Billboard’s Power 100 for the last three years. He sits on the board of SaaS enterprise workflow company ServiceNow.
