Josh Weinstein is president, CEO & chief climate officer of Carnival Corporation & plc, leading one of the world’s largest leisure travel companies that boasts a portfolio of world-class cruise line brands including AIDA Cruises, Carnival Cruise Line, Costa Cruises, Cunard, Holland America Line, P&O Cruises (Australia), P&O Cruises (UK), Princess Cruises, and Seabourn. The company operates a global fleet of 90-plus ships that welcomes nearly 13 million guests each year and visits over 700 ports and destinations worldwide. Its diverse team of more than 160,000 people from 150 countries delivers unforgettable happiness by providing extraordinary cruise vacations, while honoring the integrity of every ocean sailed, place visited, and life touched. Prior to his role as CEO, Josh was COO for Carnival Corporation, playing a critical role in the company’s response to the unprecedented pause in guest operations from the COVID-19 pandemic and then the successful restart. In this role, Josh directed major operational functions globally, including maritime, ports and destinations, sourcing, IT and auditing, while also overseeing Carnival UK, the operating company for P&O Cruises (UK) and Cunard. During his 20+ years with the company, Josh has also served as president of Carnival UK, treasurer for Carnival Corporation, and attorney in the corporate legal department. Prior to joining Carnival Corporation, he was a corporate attorney. Josh is on the Board of global nonprofit Catalyst, and a graduate UPenn and the NYU School of Law. He and his wife have 3 children.
