Jon Fox is a Partner and Global Head of Business Development and Investor Relations. He is a member of the firm's Investment Committee. Based in New York, he joined Värde in 2013 and spent his first 5 years with the firm in London. Jon leads the global team responsible for developing relationships with and serving investors across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific. He also leads the product development function for the firm to deliver opportunities across Värde's platform and strategies in order to help investors achieve their goals. In addition, Jon oversees communications and public affairs for the firm. Prior to joining Värde, Jon was Managing Director and Co-Head of International Capital Formation at Fortress Investment Group. He was previously a Director at Lehman Brothers in Senior Relationship Management in London after serving in corporate strategy roles for the firm's Investment Management Division in New York. He previously held roles in technology companies including Yahoo and started his investment management career at Lazard. Jon received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Colorado and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
