Sheila Davis

Dr. Sheila Davis is the Chief Executive Officer at Partners In Health (PIH), a global health nonprofit organization rooted in social justice that brings the benefits of modern medical science to impoverished communities in 11 countries. She received her BSN degree from Northeastern University, as well as her Master of Science in Nursing as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice with a concentration in global health from the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Institute of Health Professions. In 1999, she began working in a number of countries, responding to the global HIV pandemic. She was the co-founder of a small NGO that worked in South Africa and Boston from 2004 to 2010 on health implementation projects, including a rural village nurse clinic. She was a clinician in the Infectious Diseases clinic at MGH and an HIV/AIDS activist for over 15 years. For the past decade she has held multiple cross-site roles at Partners In Health, including Chief of Ebola Response, Chief of Clinical Operations, and Chief Nursing Officer overseeing nursing efforts as well as supply chain, medical informatics, laboratory, infrastructure, and quality improvement activities.
