Mary Bates – Managing Principal, Private Markets ConsultantMs. Bates is a Managing Principal, Private Markets Consultant at Meketa Investment Group where she leads the firm’s private credit practice. Ms. Bates is part of Meketa’s Private Markets Research Committee and is a shareholder of the firm. Ms. Bates joined Meketa in 2019 as part of the merger between Meketa and Pension Consulting Alliance (PCA). Prior to joining PCA in 2017, she served as the Director of Credit Strategies at Silver Creek Capital, an alternatives investment manager. Prior to joining Silver Creek, she spent over 11 years at Hewitt EnnisKnupp (HEK) (and the legacy EnnisKnupp & Associates) where she most recently served as a Senior Alternatives Research Consultant. Prior to joining HEK, Ms. Bates began her career at Lehman Brothers in New York where she was an Analyst on the emerging market debt desk.Ms. Bates holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Indiana University.
