Heather Brooks Karatz is the Founder and CEO of Hextec, Inc., a data and technology strategic holding company centered around fan monetization in sports and entertainment. Through synergistic technology, innovation, and a strong management team with deep operating experience, Hextec optimizes the current data ecosystem to capture more revenue across international fandom. She is also the Founder of the recently launched consumer platform, Shake, a social gaming application powered by brands. Heather is an experienced sports executive who has uniquely held positions at companies on different sides of the sports industry, including with leagues, teams, agencies, and media companies. She started her career as a labor attorney but has since transitioned to the business side holding senior leadership positions in business development, strategy, and operations. She most recently led growth for United Talent Agency and prior to that served as the President of the LA Wildcats/XFL and EVP/General Counsel for the management team that launched LAFC and constructed BMO Stadium. She is also involved in women’s sports and is an owner in Angel City Football Club.
