Greg Emerson joined Boston Consulting Group in 2010. He leads BCG’s Tech Capital business globally, focused on serving technology investors and their portfolio companies. Greg’s project experience includes extensive transaction support (buy-side and sell-side), covering enterprise software, payments, fintech, data, and consumer internet business. He specializes in horizontal and vertical business applications. He leads over 80 diligences a year in these segments. His work spans late-stage venture capital, growth equity, leveraged buyout, and hedge fund and includes growth stage, maturing, and legacy technology assets. He also has expertise in value creation within technology portfolio companies, bringing the lens of “what will the buyer value” to his work. In addition to working with many of the leading technology GPs, Greg also works with some very notable LPs on their capital allocation and deployment strategies across technology segments including AI.
