Eric Cromwell is a Founding Member of Cromwell Schmisseur LLC and an accomplished professional in the field of innovation-based economic development. Eric advises government officials, private investors, corporate executives and philanthropic leaders on effective innovation development strategies, with a specific focus on large-scale venture capital initiatives. Cromwell Schmisseur currently supports the U.S. Department of the Treasury with the implementation of the State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI), a $10 billion small business financing and technical assistance program reauthorized by the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. Prior to Cromwell Schmisseur, Eric held senior leadership positions in state government, nonprofit organizations and academic institutions.
