Connie Pfeiffer

Vice President of Global Medical Affairs at Immunocore, Connie Pfeiffer has more than three decades of experience in Oncology and has worked on global launches of first-in-class and first-in-indication immunotherapies. Before building Immunocore’s US and European medical teams that launched the world’s first T cell receptor therapy in 2022, Connie spent over a decade at Bristol Myers Squibb. While there, she was the Global Medical Lead for genitourinary, gastrointestinal and melanoma tumors, and the Global Head of Oncology Patient Advocacy, among a number of other positions. Connie also served as the US Medical Lead and the Director of Medical Strategy on the launches of ipilimumab and nivolumab in melanoma, renal cell, bladder, and colorectal cancers. Connie originally trained as a pharmacist, graduating as a Doctor of Pharmacy from Rutgers University, before embarking on a 15-year career in practice at the University Medical Center of Princeton. She was Clinical Associate Professor and Vice-Chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers, specializing in oncology. She completed a post-doctoral residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
