As President of Traveloka, Caesar Indra oversees the company’s commercial strategy and customer support, drives product strategy, and manages partnerships across all travel verticals. Since joining Traveloka over a decade ago, he has held numerous roles within the company, from product management to leading Traveloka’s Transport and Financing business units. Caesar has a passion for the interplay between people and technology. In his capacity as President, he has overseen the development of a suite of inclusive financial products that address structural challenges and opportunities unique to Southeast Asia – providing increased, responsible access to credit to millions of people. Before his appointment as President, Caesar was CEO of Transport, where he scaled and localized technology and operations to grow gross booking value over 2000% over a five-year span in six different markets across the region. Caesar started his career as a software engineer at a Seattle-based B2B tech startup that was subsequently acquired by Nuance Communications, now part of Microsoft. He went on to join the Boston Consulting Group as a Strategy and Management Consultant. Caesar holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Washington, and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In his spare time, he enjoys sports, especially running and tennis.
