Barbara Jesuele is the Deputy Chief Investment Officer of the J. Paul Getty Trust, an operating foundation with total financial assets of $8.8 billion. Barbara supports the CIO on developing long-term strategic plans for the Getty’s investment program. She is also responsible for managing the Public Equity and the Real Assets portfolios. Barbara joined the Getty Trust in 2002 as a Senior Investment Analyst focused on Private Equity. Prior to the Getty, Barbara started her career at HypoVereinsbank (UniCredit) in Munich, Germany as a credit analyst with the Financial Institutions Group focused on Asia. Barbara is part of Getty’s Environmental Sustainability Working Group and actively works on DEAI initiatives within the Getty as well as broadly in the investment management industry. Barbara serves on the board of Pension Real Estate Association (PREA), Filipinos in Institutional Real Estate (FIIRE) and Women in Real Estate (WIRE). Barbara is a member of the Board of Directors of Four Corners Property Trust, a publicly traded REIT. Barbara studied International Economic Relations at the University of Hamburg, Germany and holds a B.A. in Management Economics from the Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines.
