After a decade as a leading food attorney, Ryan turned her energy to launching Michelle Obama’s health initiative. As the founder of Boardwalk Collective, Ryan is now focused on creating a healthier, happier, and more connected world. She serves as Senior Advisor to the Milken Institute, where she works with the team to elevate sustainable solutions to health crises around the globe. Ryan serves on several boards and advises numerous startups, investors, and philanthropists. As Chief Strategy Officer and General Counsel of Partnership for a Healthier America, Ryan and her team garnered commitments from more than 200 CEOs across a range of industries to health-promoting efforts. Ryan was also an architect of the innovative FNV campaign, which engaged over 85 celebrities. Prior to joining PHA, Ryan counseled large food and agriculture companies and associations at the international law firm Hogan Lovells. While at the firm, she also maintained a pro bono practice, handling civil rights, political asylum, and death penalty cases. Ryan graduated with honors from Princeton University and Harvard Law School but claims her greatest accomplishment is keeping up with her two children!
