Dr. Isabella Danel is the Deputy Director of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), Regional Office of WHO for the Americas. Dr. Danel has worked on global health issues at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and at the World Bank. She received her MD from Albany Medical College, New York and her MS from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
