Andrew Scott is Professor of Economics and Fellow of All Souls, Oxford University and the Centre for Economic Policy Research. He previously held lecturing positions at Harvard, London School of Economics and Oxford. He has published widely in leading international academic journals and his book, with Lynda Gratton, The Hundred Year Life, has been published in 14 languages and was runner up in the FT-McKinsey Business Book of The Year and the Japanese Business Book of the Year award. Previously he was Managing Editor for the Royal Economic Society’s Economic Journal and Scientific Chair of the Euro Area Business Cycle Network. He has held a number of policy roles including Non Executive Director for the UK’s Financial Services Authority. He is currently on the advisory board of the UK’s Office for Budget Responsibility and a member of the Cabinet Office Honours Committee (Science and Technology).
