Press Release
Milken Institute hosts its first-ever Asia Summit

SINGAPORE – On September 18-19, the Milken Institute will bring together CEOs, major investors, heads of sovereign wealth funds, philanthropists and other leaders from around the world for its first-ever Asia Summit. Like the Institute’s annual Global Conference – but on a much more intimate scale – these leaders will focus on some of the world’s most pressing challenges, but with a strong Asian focus. Panel topics include: prosperity and risk in the Asia-Pacific region, Asia’s new crop of political leaders, and the prognosis for health innovation in Asia.

“We are delighted to bring to Asia the Milken Institute’s unique ability to convene leaders, and extend our work addressing the core issues of access to capital, improving health care, and spurring job creation,” said Institute CEO Mike Klowden. “With our new, Singapore-based Asia Center, and in hosting the first of what will be annual Asia Summits, we hope to make a contribution of dynamic ideas to match the region’s economic dynamism.”
