Education in Israel: Higher Education and Elementary Schools - Proposals for Financing and Management
Nov 01, 2008
Abed Assli, Sivan Anavi and Yosi Ganel

Israel relies heavily on human capital to propel its economic growth. However, growing challenges in education could derail this growth engine. This Koret-Milken Institute Fellows Program policy brief examines innovations for both higher and elementary education, including human capital contracts, voucher systems and charter schools. The policy brief is available in English and a full research report is available in Hebrew, here.

The Koret-Milken Institute Fellows Program, established by the Koret Foundation, provides annual fellowships to outstanding Israeli graduate students, to complete independent economic research within government or parliamentary offices on issues impeding small-business development, employment expansion and economic growth in Israel.
