Vice President of Advanced Technologies, GE Global Research
Michael Idelchik is vice president of Advanced Technologies for GE Global Research, the centralized R&D organization of GE. In his role, Idelchik oversees the company's longest-range technology endeavors and innovation processes. He started with GE in 1978, progressing through various engineering and management roles within the Aircraft Engines, Healthcare and Lighting divisions. In 2002, Idelchik founded GE's first integrated technology center in China and served as managing director. He has received many distinguished awards and honors during his career, including the Chairman's Award for Technology Leadership. Presented by GE chairman and CEO Jeff Immelt, the award recognizes a lifetime of achievement in innovation.
