Mark Bernstein is senior vice president at MWW Group and leader of the firm's clean-tech and sustainability practice. He is also a senior advisor to OnGreen.com He works with private- and public-sector clients to develop strategic initiatives for managing environmental and energy issues. Prior to joining MWW Group, Bernstein was managing director of the University of Southern California's Energy Institute and a professor of the practice of political science. Prior to USC, Bernstein spent eight years as a senior policy researcher at the RAND Corp. and two years as the senior energy policy analyst for the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. He worked on the administration's climate-change technology strategy and helped to create a public-private partnership with the housing industry. He is a board member of Global Clean Energy Holdings and an advisor to Pegasus Capital Advisors. Bernstein holds a Ph.D. in energy management and policy from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s and bachelor’s degree in mathematics.
