Husodo Angkosubroto is chairman of PT. Gunung Sewu Kencana (GSK), an Indonesia-based investment and management group of unconsolidated companies with three core businesses: agribusiness, property development and life insurance. Its agribusiness portfolio includes the world's third-largest pineapple producer, a banana plantation, tapioca starch production operations and cattle feedlots. The property development portfolio focuses on high-quality office, commercial and residential rental properties. Sequislife, a life insurance company, ranks among the top five largest in Indonesia. Angkosubroto played a pivotal role in developing GSK into a leading company in Indonesia when he joined the group in 1977 after earning his B.S. from the University of Southern California.
