David Palmer is the president and chief financial officer for Diamond Resorts International, responsible for global operations and financial activities. Previously a principal with Vision Capital Partners, Palmer was also a founder of Velocity Capital and a managing director of Trivergance. Palmer has extensive experience as a financial executive and private equity investor specializing in consumer-oriented companies and industry consolidations. Palmer received an M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in 1986 and an A.B. in physical chemistry from Hamilton College in 1983.
