Tom Joyce is chairman and CEO of the Knight Capital Group Inc. He has more than 30 years of experience in the securities industry, including a variety of leadership roles in the global institutional equity business during 15 years at Merrill Lynch & Co., where his last position was head of global equity e-commerce. Joyce is a board member of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) and a former board member of Nasdaq. In addition, he currently serves on the boards of the Special Olympics of Connecticut, the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation and the Ronald McDonald House New York. Joyce received a B.A. in economics from Harvard College.
