Maria Bartiromo is anchor of CNBC's "Closing Bell with Maria Bartiromo" and anchor and managing editor of the syndicated "Wall Street Journal Report with Maria Bartiromo." In 1995, Bartiromo became the first journalist to report live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange on a daily basis. She has received numerous awards, including Emmys for her "Bailout Talks Collapse" and "Inside the Mind of Google" programs as well as a Gracie Award for "Greenspan: Power, Money & the American Dream." In 2009, the Financial Times named her one of the "50 Faces That Shaped the Decade." She was also the first female journalist inducted into the Cable Hall of Fame. Bartiromo is the author of several books and a monthly column in USA Today. She sits on the boards of New York University, the New York City Ballet and the Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. A graduate of New York University, Bartiromo served as an adjunct professor at NYU's Stern School of Business in 2010 and 2011.
