Nicolas Shea is senior advisor of innovation and entrepreneurship in the Chilean Ministry of Economy. Shea, who joined the government in March 2010, launched Start Up Chile, a program that attracts early-stage high-potential entrepreneurs to bootstrap their startups in Chile. Before joining the government, Shea was the owner of eClass in Palo Alto, Calif. He holds an M.Sc. in management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, an M.Sc. in education from Columbia University and a B.A. in business and economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
