Alfred Eskandar
Head of U.S. Equities, Liquidnet
Alfred Eskandar is head of U.S. Equities and a founding employee of Liquidnet. He was previously global head of corporate strategy, responsible for the firm's strategic initiatives, alliances and investments. In 2007, Eskandar led the acquisition of Miletus Trading LLC, a leading quantitative and program trading broker dealer, serving as president and CEO during its integration. He helped to shape the brand identity of Liquidnet by serving as its head of marketing from 2000 to 2004. From 1996 to 2000, Eskandar headed business development for the operations, trading and technology division of Thomson Financial's Investment Marketing Group. Prior to that, he helped launch Securities Industries News, which was acquired by Thomson Financial Services in 1996.
