Andrew Shapiro is founder and president of GreenOrder, an LRN Advisory Group. He has been an influential voice on environmental innovation in business for a decade. Shapiro built a career and a pioneering consulting firm, GreenOrder, around the idea that sustainability can be a critical driver of competitive advantage. He has partnered with GE's leadership in creating and implementing its award-winning "ecomagination" initiative; worked with GM on strategic issues, including the launch of the Chevy Volt; and guided environmental strategy at more than 100 other enterprises across diverse industries. Shapiro has written two books; appeared on NPR, CNN and the "Today" show; and been profiled by The New York Times. He has also been named to Inc.'s "Green 50" and Outside's "Enviro All-Stars." Shapiro is a graduate of Brown University and Yale Law School.
