Stephen Goldsmith is Senior Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and e-Government with ACS State and Local Solutions, Faculty Director for the Innovations in American Government program at Harvard′s Kennedy School of Government, and Chairman of the Corporation for National Service. He served two terms as Mayor of Indianapolis reducing government spending, cutting the city′s bureaucracy, eliminating counter-productive regulations and controlling taxes resulting in more than $400 million in identified savings that he reinvested by leveraging public and private participation transforming downtown Indianapolis. He was Marion County District Attorney for 13 years. Goldsmith is also a Special Advisor to President Bush on faith-based and not-for-profit initiatives and served as chief domestic policy advisor to the Bush campaign. Goldsmith earned his JD at the University of Michigan.
