William Wilby is the director of global equities for Oppenheimer Funds and the manager of the $5 billion Oppenheimer Global Fund, one of the oldest and best-performing global mutual funds in the United States. Wilby's team manages 14 funds invested in all of the world's equity markets and was ranked as the top international management team by Morningstar, Inc. in their April 1998 ranking of mutual fund families. Wilby previously served as an international investment strategist, managing director, and portfolio manager for various financial institutions and has been an international economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.

A chartered financial analyst, Wilby received his Ph.D. in international economics from the University of Chicago.
