Megan McArdle is the business and economics editor of The Atlantic. Prior to joining The Atlantic, she worked for The Economist in various capacities, including founding its economics blog, Free Exchange. Her writing on business and economics has appeared in diverse outlets, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, the New York Post, the New York Daily News, the New York Sun, the Examiner, Philanthropy and Reason Magazine. McArdle holds a B.A. in English literature from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
