Thomas Wilson is chairman, president and CEO of Allstate as well as deputy chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. Wilson served as president and CEO of The Allstate Corp. in 2005 and 2006. From 2002 to 2006, he was president of Allstate Protection, responsible for the company's property-casualty insurance operations. From 1999 to 2002, he was chairman and president of Allstate Financial, which provides insurance, annuity, banking and retirement products. From 1995 to 1998, he served as Allstate's CFO. He joined Allstate from Sears, Roebuck & Co., where he was vice president of strategy and analysis. Prior to Sears, he was a managing director at Dean Witter Reynolds and held various financial positions at Amoco Corp. Wilson is a board member of Rush University Medical Center, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Catalyst, the leading nonprofit organization working to advance women in business. He is also a member of the World Presidents' Organization, the Financial Services Forum and The Business Roundtable, among others. Wilson holds a B.S. from the University of Michigan and a master's degree from Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
