Stephen Watkins is Chairman and CEO of Entrex Inc., which serves both investors and issuers. As an entrepreneur, Watkins founded numerous ventures, leading them from conception through exit. In the course of raising capital, he identified inefficient paths that companies were forced to follow to gain exposure to, and credibility by, the capital markets and investors. This experience became the inspiration behind Entrex Inc., named for Entrepreneurial Exchange. The company has attracted investor interest in its flagship product line, the TIGRcub security structure, representing nearly $5.6 billion in capital. Entrex itself represents an evolution in corporate finance that will alter the landscape of capital for small and mid-size private and public companies. Watkins is also the author of Capital Can′t Fund What It Can′t Find, which focuses on capital markets, capital formation and capital access for private companies. He serves on several committees and panels for Fortune, CNNMoney.com and other global business publications.
