Mernoy Harrison Jr. is Vice President and Executive Vice Provost for Arizona State University Online and Extended Education. He previously served as vice president and executive vice provost for the ASU-Downtown Phoenix campus; executive vice president for administration and finance at Arizona State University; and vice provost for administrative services at the ASU-Tempe Campus. Prior to his initial appointment at ASU-Tempe, he was the vice president for administration at California State University, Sacramento, and comptroller at North Carolina Central University, where he taught and also served as the assistant to the vice chancellor for academic. Harrison is currently a member of the board of directors of the University Continuing Education Association and the Editorial Review Board of Planning for Higher Education. He received both bachelor's and master's degrees from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
