Zvi Chalamish
Chief Financial Officer, Government of Israel Economic Mission
Zvi Chalamish is Chief Fiscal Officer of the Government of Israel Economic Mission, a position he has held since 2005. Based in New York, he is the key liaison to the U.S. investment banking community and credit-rating agencies. Chalamish is responsible for raising foreign currency for the state of Israel in international markets through bond and loan guarantee offerings, and overseeing the State of Israel Bonds (Development Corporation of Israel) activities and fundraising initiatives worldwide. Prior to his diplomatic appointment in the United States, he served for five years as the deputy accountant general for Israel's Ministry of Finance. Chalamish received a bachelor's degree and an M.B.A. in finance and accounting from Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
